Founder and Managing Partner

Emmanuel Augustino Muga is the Founder and Managing Partner of Augustino Law Chambers, bringing over 13 years of rich experience as a seasoned advocate. His practice spans several key areas of law, including corporate, labour, tax, investment, media/tort, and commercial law. With a sharp eye for detail, Mr. Muga excels in drafting legal documents, managing high-value transactions, providing strategic consultancy, and overseeing complex projects for clients across diverse industries.

Before embarking on his successful legal career, Mr. Muga was a trained journalist and worked with the BBC World Service. His journalism background has equipped him with unparalleled communication and analytical skills, which have since enriched his work as a formidable litigation attorney. This unique combination of skills enables him to approach legal challenges with precision and clarity.

Mr. Muga is well-respected for his strong working relationships with key public institutions, including the Registrar of Companies (BRELA), Registrar of NGOs, Tanzania Revenue Authority, and Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC). Over the years, he has assisted clients in successfully registering companies and NGOs in Tanzania, as well as securing investment incentives from TIC. His deep understanding of corporate and regulatory matters has positioned him as a trusted advisor to both local and international clients.

As a seasoned litigator, Mr. Muga has represented clients in high-profile and complex cases before the Labour Court, Commercial Court, Land Court, and the Court of Appeal of Tanzania.
